Officers and committees, elected in September, are installed in January.  A bazaar has usually been held in October (proceeds used for local church needs).  Our serving group, comprised of fourteen members, serves functions involving food, such as funerals or memorial services and confirmation banquets. 
 
Local missions, supported by the Breckenridge United Methodist Women organization, include our local church, visiting shut-in's & others, and distributing publications such as Christian Living in Mature Years​ and large-print Upper Room​ (a daily devotional booklet), and providing spring & Christmas remembrances for shut-in's.  Others are monetary gifts to CHI Health at Home (hospice), birthday parties at nursing homes, and food & monetary donations to the Richland-Wilkin County Food Pantry. 
 
​Our unit has 35 members and our church is a United Methodist Churches in North Star District of the Minnesota Conference.
