Our Ministries

Breckenridge United Methodist Church has sponsored "Methodist Moments," a half-hour radio broadcast airing on the first and third Sundays of each month from 7:30 to 8:00 a.m. on KMBW 1450 AM since 2008. Our broadcast reaches over seven counties, sharing the love of God!

One of our cherished church values is pouring into our children and youth. Each Sunday, we enjoy Children's Time with the pastor, so they can engage in worship. Children's Sunday School takes place during worship from September - April. We also participate with We Care Coalition of Breckenridge and Wilkin County to support youth in our area!

Started in 1995, Breckenridge has hosted an ecumenical Christmas Canata that has supported the Richland-Wilkin Backpack program to feed our local children during the school year, fighting food insecurity. It has grown from 16 singers to over 100, accompanied by an orchestra! Make a joyful noise with us during the advent season!

Our church's women's organization warmly welcomes you! We invite you to attend a meeting or participate in one of our special events this year. Our women have served as a strong and supportive backbone for both our church and the community, and we hope to extend that support to you as well!

Our shawls envelop the recipient in warmth and prayers from the community of Breckenridge UMC.  As the craftsperson creates the shawl the prayer of healing is prayed so that the prayer is literally woven into the yarn. Come Join us on 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of the month at 9:30 a.m. at the church! 

Each month, our church strives to collect items for the Richland-Wilkin Food Pantry to aid our community. You can find the list for each month within our church's monthly newsletter!
