Advent Sermon Series: Messy Christmas
Join us for our Advent sermon series, "Messy Christmas," a sermon series exploring the joy and hope found amidst the messiness of life and the Christmas story! The series will examine "messy" situations from the Bible, like the unexpected pregnancy of Mary and the humble circumstances of Jesus' birth, and contrast them with our own hectic lives during the Christmas season. Come discover how God can work with all of this and bring good news of great joy into all our lives, no matter how messy they may be.

Walking with Jesus (October 2024)
Walking with Jesus is good for the body, mind, and senses. It helps us stretch our thinking into new possibilities and understandings. We are invited to see things we had overlooked, hear the cries of those often kept silent, and feel a connection with our community. This exercise is also about strengthening our faith and recognizing the Spirit at work in and around us. Join us this fall for a walk with Jesus, which is good exercise all around. Join us this October!

Worship with Rejoicing Sermon Series (July - August 2024)
In this sermon series, we are discussing worship as a way of life using the example of David, a key figure in the Hebrew Scriptures. Worship wasn’t just something David did, nor was it bound by time or a space. Worship was who David was. Yes, sometimes David made mistakes. (Big ones!) Sometimes, he followed impulses that led him away from God. And sometimes he got confused about who or what he was worshipping in place of God. But through it all, in the midst of the mess, David sought to live his life as an offering to his Creator. We will study his story and discover how we, too, may worship with our whole selves in authentic ways.
